Mirroring drives

I have built several new workstations for my shop. I have 5 Windows 7 keys and pretty much other than the hardware specs all the stations will have the same programs. A buddy of mine suggested mirroring?? I was curious to know the best way to do this. I thought about installing the OS, not activate, and install all the programs i have. These will be my standard design/workstation areas. How can i do this effectively??

I think you mean to make an image of the drive once you have all the software installed the way you want.
There are many good programs out there to make an image of your drive, Acronis, Ghost, and there are more, I use Acronis and Ghost mostly as they allow me to make backups to a NAS.

Acronis is very simple and I don't think you would have to much of a problem with it.
