I am running Windows 7 64 bit professional - SP1 + all current updates to March 2019. In the process of considering modifying my logon font color, I read several forum messages regarding the use of Resource Hacker to modify the authui.dll files in system32 and syswow64. When I went to copy them to my desktop I discovered that they are not in either of those folders. Is this a problem? Do I need to download the authui.dll zip file that Danny made available and install them to the appropriate folder, or do I leave well enough alone and back off?
