Solved missing webcam driver

hi all gurus of 7,

this is rather stupid. I was cleaning out the closet and found this webcam (dont know the brand) i havent used in a while eversince my laptop has its own built in usb camera.

now, for sure i cant find the installation disk. so i Plugged the webcam relying on windows driver database which failed miserably.

Its not really an issue but its nagging me that I cant use this webcam.
I tried already SIW software which got me this:

PC Camera USB\VID_0AC8&PID_307B\5&253710DA&0&2

any ideas?

Not quite.
Please, go to Device Manager, right click on the device, Properties, Details.
Click on the tab for Hardware Ids.

tried to download the one that says win 7 ..... run the *.exe file then I restarted the PC.

When I plugged in the camera same thing happened. I tried to look up drivers manually
and it says 'device could not start code error 10'.

solved

the driver i needed was not Omega, it was ZSMC. thanks for the help.

kodockz could you pls post the driver, because i also have the same problem "usb vid_0ac8&pid_307b" for windows 8 64bit
