At first I thought the W7 installation went fine but when i tried to turn my computer off it stayed on the "Logging Off" screen. Ok, so i forced shutdown. Next time, I wanted to shut the computer down. Again, a similar problem. The screen stayed on the "Shutting Down" screen. It wouldn't actually shut down. Same thing goes for the hibernation option. I've been reading on the hibernation issues others are having. I'm not sure what to do about my problem. Can anyone offer any insight on the issue?

In case it helps, I upgraded from Vista Home x64 to Windows 7 x64. The upgrade came with the new laptop.

A program is running that will not shut down. Go to microsoft site and download autoruns, you will be able to determine what is running and hopefully fix the problem

I downloaded the autoruns and ran it. I was able to see all that was going on with the system but I'm not sure how to exactly to find the program that is running.
