Solved Most recent Intel 3000 video driver gives m sporadic black screen

Hello. I used the INtel update utility and it told me to update my Intel 3000 driver. I did this and then went home. My brother is now telling me the screen go black from time to time and he only gets it back by restarting. I told him to use device manager to roll back the driver but he said it is not offered.

What should i do and thanks


strange this is. Its a notebook with an INtell 3000 and a Radeon vid card. He says that Device Manager says there is a warning icon next to Radeon, but i never touched that one?

I would use System Restore and restore to a point before you updated the Intel driver. That may cure the problem.
