Solved Mouse/keyboard dont run after I rolled back from win 10 to win 7

Hey now they are right and if you can get into safe mode (tap F8 when powering up) load the drivers for the machine from a stick. Now safe mode itself may need a login password but if you know it then you should be able to type it in and login.
Once in although you have no mouse or touch pad control you should be able to move from Start (Windows button) and using the arrows keys to get to where you want to, find the stick and click enter and arrow key to the driver you want.

Another way might be to do this

BOOTABLE UBUNTU

Make a bootable Ubuntu disk http://www.ubuntu.com/download

Set the BIOS to boot from theoptical when the machine boots it will show you a screen with TRY or INSTALL> select TRYnot INSTALL

When it is finished - it takes verylittle time you will get a screen like in the pic .

Open the drive you want > Userand dig down until you get to the data / settings you may be able to copy /paste the material you want to an external source or other installed drive doingthis.

I am not sure if it will but I haverecovered tons of data etc using this method both on "dead" or justplain drives that you cannot get data from using Windows.
You will be able to move around inside this OS and install drivers from the stick that will be listed in drives to the C: drive and the Ubuntu works completely independently of Windows. But make sure you only use TRY not INSTALL

Hi. Thanks for the fast reply. I tried safe mode and safe mode with networking yesterday didn't work. I tried it again just now still doesn't work says loading files I attached picture not sure if it will work as I'm using my iPhone. After files are loaded it brings me to login page and can't go beyond there. I even tried using the tab and no luck. I will try your second method but will have to wait until I can get someone to help me as I don't want to mess anything up. I will post when that's done. Thank u

Tried an external USB keyboard? Also, do they work in Safe Mode?

Now as Gokhan says too CG can you see if the machine a has a PS2 socket for the old legacy type keyboards see pics - some of the sockets and plugs come as half green and half purple. The only problem might be getting hold of the old gear - KB and mouse but they will work where the new USB gear will not - most of the time.

Hi. Yes I tried an external keyboard and no luck. I also don't have PS2 socket

Unusual not to have the PS2 sockets on the back panel of the motherboard. Though having said that it is hard to find the keyboards and mice with the plugs for them though you can get a USB adaptor - not that I am a great fan of them

Solved

I ended up just taking a good windows 7 32 bit (to match the architecture of the pc I am working on)

copied c:\windows\system32\drivers from a good pc to a bad one, after changing the permissions in that folder.

keybdss or something looked like it had been recently modded. Good luck!
