Mouse Only Opening Windows Media Center

Hello all,

For some reason my mouse has stopped moving (batteries etc are all new and working) and every time I try and move the mouse Windows Media Center opens.

I think it may be a stuck down key or a keyboard shortcut that may have cause this as I was in Premiere Pro at the time (I've got to finish this editing by tomorrow so this has come at the worst time too!). Occasionally a control key or something similar gets a bit stuck and my E key comes out in foreign Es and things like that, so I take the keys off and mess around with it that way and it works again.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I can't move my mouse at all without WMC opening and clicking doesn't change anything..

Once I'm in WMC I can't even move inside there either..

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm starting to panic about my deadline tomorrow..

Did you figure this one out? I have the same issue with a wireless gigabyte mouse. Have tried with keyboard removed (batteries out) and another keyboard but media center still pops up as soon as I move the mouse.
