Just wondering what or if I could move an xp backup onto a raid 0 drive.

I did setup the drives in raid in the bios, and they show as raid.
I booted into my marcium backup and ran my xp backup onto the drive,
that showed in marcium as a raid 0 drive.

When I booted, which went fine, into xp it shows in disk management as raid 0.
But the problem is,
it shows two drives, together and the 2nd drive as being un partitioned.
therefore i'm only running on one drive.

Is this fixable, or do I need a clean install?

thanks.

Upon further inspection,
It seems the raid is active and that my backup restore partitioned it's own previous volume size onto the raid disk.
As seen as 111g, with an 187g un partitioned drive.
As the drives are 160gb each on the raid, and the original drive was a 120g.
I can only assue even tho twice now that I have used the option in marcium for it to restore onto the geometery of the drive present, that is has not.
So as a fix I will try a partition program and try to open up the rest of the drive.

fingers crossed.

After a little bit of a hassle with some free programs for extending the partition, that didn't work.
As they would not see any of my raid drives, just the drives themselves.
This was booting from thier recovery disks, I decided to try and boot into my win7 raid.. on the same computer ofcourse.
And extended the partition through it's disk management program, seemed to work.
All seems good now, just some updates to run :)
