Hi I have kind of laid low for the past 'decade' because of ongoing life problems (not excluding the pandemic), although it is probably silly to assume my participation on the internet would have kept up support for Windows 7. It would not surprise me though if a lot of other Windows 7 users have felt the same way.

I bought a new laptop in late 2023 and had to return it due to the lack of usability. Quite frankly it was a nightmare. I wish I had kept testing new computers out but Microcenter 'recently' changed their return policy from 90 days to 15 which is ridiculous any why I stopped buying anything from Bestbuy over a decade ago. So it was just far too stressful for the salesmen to promise me an extended return policy during the holidays only to have to debate with them with written proof that I was guaranteed that.

So I've got Firefox 115.24 ESR almost perfectly tweaked to the way I liked it since Firefox exploded after Version 52 and disabled all extensions and made the settings highly irritating in an attempt to "compete" with inferior Chrome (Why does Chrome not even open Google Earth links from wikipedia when Earth is a Google product?) I don't WANT to go through another several days of trying to make yet ANOTHER version look and work the way I want it to. I would just prefer to copy the userchrome file and my extensions over. I don't have the time in life to go through that BS.

So is there a Mozilla version, developer or otherwise, that still works on Windows 7 that is fully updated whether it is Icefox, Nightly, or whatever they want to call it?

Thanks

I have tried this out on Vista and it works fine, so Windows 7 should be no problem. I can't vouch for the quality and security, but it seems to be well-received so far. They even make one for W-XP. Also, they do a Thunderbird spinoff, but I have not tried it yet.
