mp3 files stopped showing in search resaults

hi there
i been using the w7 since beta versions and always loved the quick fast search engine that is built in the start menu

i been using it for mostly quick access to songs that i like

but recently all the sudden it stopped showing the mp3z
first i thought that it was windows indexer problem but i checked there and the music library was included
i tried adding my music folder agine and rebuilt the index but it didn't work

check the file types and mp3 was checked

tryed truing the whole indexing feature on and off from services but that didn't work

i dunno why but its excluding the mp3 files ( at least that what i concentrated on ) from the start menu search result
and when i click " see more resaults " the appear instantly


so whats wrong ?

A couple of things to try. Even though check mark is clicked for file types MP3 in advanced options. You can try typing in mp3 in Add new extension box at the bottom, and see if it will re add. Or, on Index settings window, you could choose the Delete and rebuild index option. Just some things to try since you have tried the obvious things. A Guy

i re added the mp3 , no message was displayed
so just to make sure i re aded it for 4 more times , mo message also

i am rebuilding the index right now

it seems that its not shwing any thing from my documents
although i added the folder manually....
