I have a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium N, which I downloaded from the Microsoft MSDN page. I use it for testing in VMware. Well, the networking was screwed up, so I went into VMware settings and changed it from NAT to Bridged. I then ran Windows update. When it was done updating I got a message in the lower right that says "Windows 7 Build 7600 This copy of windows is not genuine". So, I did some googling, and was told to run this MGADiag tool to verify if it is indeed genuine or not. It also comes back and says it's invalid:
I'm not sure if this is related somehow to this link, since I changed some hardware? But if it is, I can't find rsop.msc OR any of the policy settings... it also doesn't mention Home Premium being affected by it...
So... I'm up for suggestions here. Otherwise I have to nuke this build and start over.
