Solved MSE ( Microsoft Security Essential ) Problem

Hi guys,

Every couple of hours or after a reboot, the MSE tray icon turns orange and it tells me that I didn't do a scan in a long while. I do the scan and the problem keeps on coming.

I tried already to uninstall - reinstall ( this fix prevents this issue for about 2 weeks and then happens again ). I have the latest version. So what can be the issue here ?

I saw this on another thread (If I find it, I'll post the link) , if you have/run the latest version of CCleaner, you need to uncheck anything related to MSE. The new version apparently cleans the logs, thus making MSE believe it hasn't scanned in a while.

It was Ccleaner, if you uncheck this box here it will quit cleaning the logs that tell it it has scanned.
