I'm having some trouble with my PC for a while now.
Whenever i'm playing GTA5 i get the BSOD with different error codes:

-0x00000001 APC_INDEX_MISMATCH
-0x1000007E SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
-0x0000009C MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
-0x00000101 CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
-0x00000124 WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR
So far i had these 5 error codes....

System specs:
-Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz
-Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 3GB (GV-R797OC-3GD)
-Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 (Socket 1150)
-Corsair 8GB PC3-12800 Vengeance (2x 4GB, 1600MHz, CL9)
-Corsair Hydro H80i

I've tried alot and in the beginning i had only the 101 error, i thought my CPU was overheating so i applied some new thermal paste on my cooler. After i did this i haven't seen the 101 back but got 4 new ones instead.
All drivers are up to date, except for bios.
Windows Memory check isn't giving any faults
Any Suggestions? Pls help!

Hello, Robinsk8 and welcome to the Forums. I will try to help you. First please add your PSU and CPU Cooler to your system specs. Hopefully this will help you. You did a good job filling out your system specs, but we would like a little more.

Please fill out your System Specs

   Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

If you are overclocking anything, please set everything back to default levels. If you have any of the Gigabyte Utilities installed, please uninstall all of them. They are well know causes of BSODs.

I looked at your last several dump files and this is what I found

Code:
Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.
[COLOR=red]BugCheck 124[/COLOR], {0, fffffa800a65f028, bf800000, 124}
Probably caused by : GenuineIntel
Followup: MachineOwner

That is a generic code for a hardware failure/failing or a driver bad enough to cause a piece of hardware to act as though it was failing, but it gives no specifics as to what that may be.

Code:
fffff880`029b4798 fffff880`0f127dedUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\atikmdag.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmdag.sys
[COLOR=red]*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmdag.sys[/COLOR]
 atikmdag+0xdaded

That is your Graphics card driver and this is your current driver. It should be noted this showed up in several dumps.

Code:
atikmdag

Please install a newer driver. I will give you some instructions to help you get a good clean install with nothing you don't need. You don't need CCC ort anything else other than the Graphics driver.

I am going to give you some links that will help you get a good clean install and not have any drivers you don't need that will conflict with other drivers. Download a WHQL driver from http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/329659-latest-amd-catalyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html . Once you have them downloaded, uninstall you current driver from control panel. next clean up any left over drivers from following this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/83814-drivers-clean-left-over-files-after-uninstalling.html and select only ATI Display Drivers. After you have done that and rebooted, install the new driver, only select custom install and install only what you have to. Very few people need most of what they include. You do not need the audio/HDMI drivers as you already have that in your Motherboard drivers. Unless there is some reason you need them, the only thing you really need is the Display Driver.

Please either update that driver from your Motherboard's web site (GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87-HD3 (rev. 1.x)) please make sure that is your board.

As noted in your title, you are getting a lot of different error codes which is indicative of a possible memory error. Update the above drivers and see how it runs. If we get to where you need to run a memory test, I will tell you how to do it properly. Also, please be sure that the Firmware on your Crucial SSD is current.

Ok so far i've done the following things:

-checked for gigabyte utilities, haven't installed any
-Clean uninstalled the old graphic driver using YourUninstall and Display Driver Uninstaller.
-Downloaded and installed Latest AMD Catalyst Driver (15.4 Beta)
-Updated my Intel HD Graphics Driver (Was needed by Intel Driver Update Utility)
-Updated Crucial SSD firmware

Only at the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD Driver i got confused.
As i can't find that specific driver on my computer or my motherboards website, allthough i can find it on the Intel website, it says my system is not compatible with the drivers i've tried.
Wich version do i need? do i need that driver at all?

Tnhx

Here is what Intel says about it. I don't see your chipset listed. Intel® HD Graphics and Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver

Also, I am not very familiar with it. But, as I understand it, the driver is for use with the on board graphics in the CPU. All of the newer Chipsets automatically disable the onboard graphics when the BIOS detects a discrete graphics card. As far as I am aware, the only exception to that is if you have enabled and installed the LucidLogix or the Virtu MVP programs.

Well i know for sure i haven't used any of these programs.
But i ran in to more troubles:
After i installed the new graphics driver i can't launch any game anymore, like GTA 5 is saying "unable to initialize directx 9 device" and Battlefield 4 is saying "failed to initialize display graphics. Please ensure your videocard is compatible and the drivers for it installed. Usualy this is a result of missing vendor specific drivers''.

I've tried using an older graphics driver and to be sure i've reinstalled Directx 11, but it still didn't solve the problem.
And after having another look i cant find my graphics card anywhere and my monitor is using a standard vga adapter.
Are could these drivers not work or what am i doing wrong?
Or could it have something to do with the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver?

any suggestions or a likewise problem on another thread maybe?
thnx

It only sees a standard VGA graphic adapter. but its weird because during the installation of the driver it detects my graphics card.

Standard VGA means the drivers are not installed, usually. It's a little confusing. The drivers should not have installed if they could not detect your card. If you have your monitor connected to the graphics card, you should not be able to use the on board graphics. By default, your Motherboard should disable on board graphics if it detects a PCIe card installed to an X16 slot.

Please download GPUz, if you don't already have it (GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility) and post a screenshot of both tabs. If you don't have it, please download and install CPUz (CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID) and post screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory and SPD tabs. On the SPD tab you can select each Dimm slot from the upper left drop down menu. Also a screenshot of the Graphics tab. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

Also, please go into you BIOS and look at the PCIe configuration and see if the card is listed in the top X16 PCIe slot.

Try reinstalling the drivers again, I guess. Download them from Download Drivers . That's the US version, I suspect they will detect your Country and show the appropriate version for you. I think the drivers are the same, but I can't swear to it.

That's really all I know to try. Other than going to BIOS and making sure your card is detected correctly.

I've tried mutiple times to install the drivers, tried both drivers (14.12, 15.4) from the AMD site.
In BIOS set 'Init Display First' to PCI and disabled internal graphics.
Looked for graphics card info, but i couldn't find anything. Also resaeted my graphics card just to be sure.

What could i possibly try? reset motherboard or something?

Does your Motherboard list a PCIe Graphics card? What I am afraid of is when you tried to install the drivers and is said it couldn't find compatible hardware, that usually means it can't find your graphics card. If it were me I would set optimized defaults and see if that fixed it, or completely clear CMOS. In BIOS, look to see what mode your sata controller is in right now (IDE,AHCI or Raid) after you reset CMOS or set optimized defaults, Make sure your sata controller is set to what it is right now or you will not boot, probably. Set your ram to Manufacturer's Specs, Frequenct, Timings and Dram Voltage. Set your boot options, save and exit.

If you completely clear CMOS, you will have to set the date and time and everything else. Just like it was the first time you posted when it was brand new. That is usually not the case with Optimized Defaults.

If that fails to work, see if you have another graphics card or can borrow a known working one from a friend. Download the drivers for the new card, uninstall the drivers you currently have, shut down, and switch cards. On boot up install the new drivers. Let me know how it is going for you and ask any questions you don't understand or anything you want to know. I will answer the ones I know the answer to. :D

My BIOS doesn't show any information whatsoever if there is a card in a PCI slot or not. I must say that i have never updated BIOS, maybe newer version will show more?

So i've completely cleared CMOS and loaded optimized defaults. Only difference is that i'm now seeing my integrated graphics card Intel HD Graphics 4600 in device manager.

What i did noticed is when i'm using my graphics card i see the Intel HD graphics 4600 and a standard VGA graphics adapter.
But when i switch to my motherboards HDMI port and unplug my graphics card (I have to unplug because the intergrated graphics card is dissabled, so that works) i only see the Intel HD graphics 4600.

So my system thinks that my graphics card is somehow the standard VGA?

Tommorow i'm gonna try a graphics card from a colleague of mine, i'll let you know how that turns out.

Robinsk8, I am not familiar with your Motherboard, however I have never owned a modern retail board that does not have a section that shows that. It is usually in Advanced under one of the listings and a sub directory.

In device manager, if you have 2 entries of the Intel 4600 and another one for Standard VGA, it means that your Intel graphics is recognized and has the drivers installed. The other entry would mean that no drivers are installed for your graphics card. If you don't mind, would you post a screenshot of Device Manager with the Display Adaptors expanded.

Also, looking at your CPUz screenshots again, it looks like your timings are wrong. I don't think that has anything to do with your Graphics drivers, but it could have something to do with stability of the system. If you will look at the memory tab, it will show that you currently are running 9-11-11-29 at 800MHz (or close which is normal) If you look at the XMP settings on the SPD tab, you will see XMP 1600 it will show what it should be. 9-9-9-24 2T.

Ok so i figured out what the problemen was and i feel kinda stuphid about it.
Because you reccomended when installing the new driver to only install what was needed i figured to deselect all other options, but it turns out you get this problem if you dont install Catalyst Control Centre.

So with my system seeing my graphics card again, i can finnaly start gaming to see if the BSOD's are solved.
If i still get it i will look further at my memory.

Robinsk8, I am really not sure about that. I always recommend not installing CCC and have never seen this. I have an HTPC with an AMD card in it and I never installed CCC and have never had a driver problem. So, that is a new one on me. But, whatever the reason I am glad you have the drivers installed. I hope it works well for you.

Ok well i'm sure one of the addons have resolved this problem.
I tried using a working graphics card from that colluege of mine (Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870) and clean installed the same driver (15.4, i got the same result.
And also he couldn't find any info in BIOS.
