Multiple BSODs/day Shuttle SH87R6 (fresh Win7 installs)

I set this computer up for a friend and the BSODs seem to be never ending -- at least a few per day and every morning I get the error message that windows shut down incorrectly (something like that). I think it's hardware related because I get the BSODs before I've loaded a bunch of software and I was getting them during one of my Windows installs.

Here are the steps I've taken to try to solve it:
- Tried installing Win7 from DVD image and from a thumb drive (downloaded an ISO)
- Tried RAID 1 and non-RAID (on each hard drive separately, with different SATA cables)
- Sent the whole system back to Shuttle. They claimed they would check all components. They loaded Win7 and claimed they didn't have any problems, but I started getting BSODs again in 1 or 2 days.
- Ran Windows memory check
- Updated drivers, Windows update, BIOS, etc...

I've followed the forum instructions and attached the zip file from the DM Log Creator.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The driver causing this BSOD is the wireless driver. Update it or uninstall it and you'll be good to go!

Uggggg, got another one this morning.

If I know it's still the wireless driver, I can probably figure out a solution -- like getting a new WiFi adapter. FYI, the current one is TP-LINK TL-WDN4800.

One more thing: after the BSOD, I thought Windows might've installed its own driver, so I tried updating the driver again. But when I selected the downloaded driver, windows said I was currently using the best driver.

I've updated the latest crash dump. Thanks again.

I just took a look at the driver and I think my problem is that the new driver isn't taking -- the date of the driver is 2/22/2011. I should be able to figure this out. The problem is I'm remoting into the computer, so I'm limited to what I can do right now.

According to your dump, the driver causing the crash is from 2011,

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: athrx.sys
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\athrx.sys
    Image name: athrx.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"]Tue Feb 22 12:17:31 2011[/COLOR] (4D6419DB)

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

Have you tried this top one listed here?

TL-WDN4800 - Welcome to TP-LINK

The other driver being flagged is from Avast,

Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\aswMonFlt.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswMonFlt.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswMonFlt.sys
 aswMonFlt+0x20b8

For the time being, uninstall your Anti-Virus,

AV Uninstallers

And Install Microsoft Security Essentials which we know doesn't cause BSOD's.

Thanks. I tried the top one listed there, but either it didn't take or it's actually a 2011 driver. I took a look at the Amazon reviews for the card and a couple reviewers said TP Link's drivers were from 2011. A couple reviews suggested using the Athros AR9285 driver, so I installed that one.

I confirmed that the date of the driver changed to 2014, so that probably did the trick. Unfortunately, I uninstalled the old TPLink driver from "Programs" and I got kicked off my remote connection. I'll have to wait until my friend gets back to the computer so I can get him reconnected.

BSODs are so fun.

No problem, let us know how it goes.

If it continues after that driver, try removing Avast as it was flagged as well.
