I think I have a hardware error, I just ran prime95 and it bsod within seconds

I installed a new graphics card 2 weeks ago and got a couple of bsod's while installing drivers but once installed ran ok no more bsods
then I tried to install windows 7 2 days ago onto a new 500gb ssd drive
I unplugged my 4 sata drives and installed win7 onto the new drive and then plugged all the drives back in and during windows update got bsod
I tried to update many times and got either bsod or just a switch off and reboot
I formatted ssb drive and tried again but still got bsods during drivers updates
I gave up trying to install win 7 to the new drive and instead booted to my sata win7 os and am now experiencing bsod's whenever I do anything labour intensive ie gaming or running prime 95
I uninstalled the new graphics card and fitted the old one but am still getting them
in event viewer it is the same error and I have attatched a dump zip file

The previous system shutdown at 06:13:47 on ?30/?08/?2015 was unexpected.

if I try running prime95 in default settings - blend tests with lots of ram after maybe 10 seconds I get BSOD
event viewer shows a critical level error source- Kernel-power event id 41 task (63)

memtest 5 passes no errors so I gave up on that as I get a bsod within seconds on prime95
gonna play with that a bit, I reckon its psu motherboard or cpu
I don't really know what im doing so would appreciate some help/pointers
cheers

If it BSODs in a few seconds after starting Prime95, that means you have a failing CPU, get it RMA:ed.

Hi aljaxon,

Do you mind to use the tool again and upload the zip file?
I would like to take a look at the crashes, but I prefer to have updated information about your system to prevent useless suggestions or that I might miss something.

Please remove items from the startup
How to remove items from startup - Windows 7 Help Forums
These programs could interfere with the boot process giving you trouble.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

  1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
  2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
    • Double click the executable to open it
    • Click on the button shown below

34700d1440923396-bsod-0x124-whea_uncorrectable_error-nothing-works-a887c9d9e7.png

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please remove the ASUS software, these software are known for causing BSOD's.

There are 3 errors mentioned
DCACHEL1_DRD_ERR - Cache Level 1 - Data Read - Error
DCACHEL1_DWR_ERR - Cache Level 1 - Data Write - Error
DCACHEL1_EVICT_ERR - Cache Level 1 - Data Evict - Error

This might be a bad CPU yes, but this could also be caused by overclocking and in strange cases pre-installed software from the manufacturer of the motherboard.

If you are overclocking anything, revert back to stock and test the system.
