Solved Multiple BSOD's with multiple reasons

hello, i built a new computer around 5 months ago, everything was running sweet until the last 4-6 weeks, when i started getting BSOD's (mostly when gaming or exiting gaming, but sometimes when browsing and running 2 or 3 programs at once)

i had the memory management BSOD, pfn list corrupt BSOD, dxgmms1.sys BSOD, etc etc

i thought i might aswell reformat and start fresh and install steam, mw3, etc on its own to test what the issue was, but after installing a handful of my usual programs, i got another pfn list corrupt BSOD while playing call of duty.

after thinking it was the nvidia 301.42 driver giving me the issues, i used the advice from this site that said how to uninstall it cleanly via uninstall, regestry editing etc, and went back to the 296.10 driver, although i havent tested this on any games yet as the problem seems to be below and probably not the graphics driver.

i followed the advice on here with driver verifier, and ticked a few non microsoft drivers at a time to see if it would blue screen, and it did, i ticked these :-

amdxata.sys
serial.sys
dtsoftbus01.sys
secdrv.sys

and that gave me a blue screen with the error ''the io manager has detected a violation by a driver that is being verified'' ( i think!... it was a quick blue screen and i could only catch the ''io manager has'' bit at start before it rebooted) and windows failed to boot without a system restore.

although, when i tried to single out the culprit, i ticked the 4 above in groups of 2 like this :-

amdxata.sys
serial.sys

rebooted, no BSOD


dtsoftbus01.sys
secdrv.sys

rebooted, no BSOD

which pretty much baffles me, i cant imagine it being the daemon tools driver so im guessing its one of the other 3, but i have no idea about what to do, anyway, i'll attach 2 dmp files, both from today around 30 mins ago, to see if any of you guys can make any sense of my situation, i'll type my specs out here if it helps, if you need anything else, let me know

nvidia gtx280
windows 7 ulitmate x64
500w OCZ Core X-tream PSU
Western Digital 1 TB external

not really sure what else to add to that list as i dont know how you guys work, but any help or suggestions would be much appreciated,

ok thanks, i've completed that form.

also just to state that i just tried to play call of duty again, got through one level fine with no issue, then halfway through second level it kicked me out of the game and straight to desktop, and as that happened i noticed the computer at its loudest (working hard it seems, so i'm not sure wether my 500w is enough?)

hi

1. Both BSOD's are caused by dtsoftbus01.sys which is the Deamon tool lite driver... remove it ..You could try other alternatives..

2. Based on the input given above you Power supply is underrated. You need a min of 650 W as shown below

thanks centaur, i would never have thought it would have been a software driver like daemontools!

yeah i was always conscious that the psu wasn't enough or it was struggling. will get a new psu soon.
