Multiple Card Reader *Write Protected* error

Hey,

so im going crazy...

I Have an Mini SD w/ SD adapter, BRAND NEW, tried to format using PC

I get "Write protected" EVERY TIME

what i have tried

1) From Elevated CMD prompt
(Disk part) ---> (select disk N) ---> (clean) = error (attributes disk clear readonly) = attributes cleared successfully) but not actually cleared

2) From regedit
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CURRENTCONTROLSET/CONTROL

Had to create QWORD-(64-bit) and rename to WriteProtect with 0 for Hex

3) Uninstalled rebooted AND reinstalled with no success any ideas?

Does the card have a switch on the side.

Yes but i know it is not write protected because it is in the "Unlocked Position"

all 3 WITH switched are in "Unlocked" position, and I have one that i removed the switch entirely
