Hey, I just built myself a desktop for the first time, and although everything is working just fine, I run into a lot of problems with BSOD's, freezes, and crashes. The three BSOD's I've experienced are as follows in the order that they happened:

CACHE_MANAGER - 0x00000034 - Ntfs.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - 0x000000d1 - athurx.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - 0x1000007e - dxgkrnl.sys and nvlddmkm.sys

The first one was in a League lobby, the second one was while I was downloading Windows Updates, and the third one was while I was modding Skyrim. There was nothing in common for any of these besides two of them sharing a .sys file.

My computer also froze while trying to open Teamspeak, and Skype crashes randomly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.

I understand completely that using a counterfeit Windows is by no means ethical or stable, but I've been using this iso for well over 5 years with no problems on any other computer I've installed it on, including my another homebuilt desktop, a store bought desktop, and mutiple laptops.

I understand if you won't help me because I have an illegitimate Windows, no offense :)

But I can assure you that my Windows is not causing problems because of the origin it came from.

No offence taken.

You cannot, however, be sure that the installation isn't the cause of the issue. I have, on the other hand, dealt with many of these types of installations...and debugging them, when you cause may be a tampered system file clashing with original system files and/or 3rd party drivers, is just too difficult.
