I have been having explorer.exe continue to run at around 13% cpu usage after closing the program and persist to run until I manually end task on the task manager. I have pin pointed the problem to be caused by youtube's playlist. If I happen to close IE while viewing multiple youtube videos ONLY if watching them from a playlist, this problem occurs and can be replicated. I can't find any info on this issue and was wondering how to fix it.

Hi,
Is that with or without flash player installed ?
If flash is installed uninstall it and test the issue,
If without flash installed it might be connected to restore previous session features
Try using delete browser history on exit and test,
If you would like to control what is deleted on exit go to delete button and uncheck items you don't want deleted,
Cheers.

Yeah, after testing it a few times I believe I can confirm adobe flash player is causing this issue, Which sucks considering Its required for running certain videos. I wonder if anyone would know of any way to fix it? Or just wait til adobe fixes it. Also, I typically always have delete browser history on exit on.

Hi,
Yea Adobe bites and is being fazed out eventually
The only places that might require flash is some websites that are lazy to update to html5
Youtube doesn't require flash player or shockwave element that I've noticed usually all you'd need to do is hit the F5 key to refresh the page if you have an issue there.

Update: Well after checking back on this issue, I'm still having the problem, so adobe wasn't to blame (although the problem happens less frequently). Any other suggestions? Almost seems like a memory leak, I turned off all my addons so I'm stumped. Also, the problem tends to happen after viewing video after video.
