Music Skips/Freezes

Well after i installed windows 7 i noticed that when i play music on any program even pandora the music skips and freezes constantly. I was wondering if it could be that my sound card or something else.

First make sure that you are using the latest drivers. Go to your sound cards' home page and make sure... Then enter event viewer in your search box and navigate to the apps section and look for any critical errors. Take a screen shot with the snip tool and upload it please...

i have updated to the latest drivers. Now for the event viewer is it the applications and services tab?
