My PC has been working smoothly for months until I take out my aux cord this evening to use another speaker with it, and I plug it back into my pc after and now neither my speakers or headset is receiving sound.
My headset is had a USB plug. I connect the USB headset and the computer detects the device, but I cant hear anything from it?
I played around with the settings and there is no "set back to default. I updated my driver's but they were already to the latest update
I have been having troubles with my aux port over the last weeks, like it has the be in a certain spot , and **** out whenever my cat stops on it.
Does anyone have any advice? I'm new to computer building but I'm willing to replace any parts. From my limited knowledge I suspect it is the actual hardware of the port that needs replacement, but I think I may have ****ed my audio playback settings too.
Thanks for your time
