Hey y'all, I just installed Windows 7 a few months ago and have recently started tweaking it to my liking! I'd like to take the time to show off my setup and maybe inspire others to do the same!

I'll start with my welcome screen, a nice surprise when I wake my laptop!

Here's the finished desktop, it may look simple but a lot of work went into it!

The Visual Style is Windows 7 Basic Black, it's very minimal without changing the style too much.

And here's how it looks:

The icons on the left are the official Vista icons, download them here:

Here are my fave or most used programs, in the start menu:

My taskbar has a tweak, called 1UP Bins: Bins™, by 1UP Industries

All my apps are hidden behind the icons in the taskbar!

That's all folks, haha. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let me know, as thats the reason I made this thread! Hopefully y'all can appreciate my setup, and maybe give some feedback!

Hi dvvdv,

I can see that you have put a lot of time and effort into producing your customised setup.

I would STRONGLY suggest that now you have your OS updated and running exactly the way you like it, that you make a system image. This way, if things go wrong in the future, you will be able to restore your OS back to the exact same state that it is now in a very short time. There are two imaging programs which are very popular among members here, the first is AOMEI Backupper Standard [FREE], and the second is Macrium Reflect [FREE].

I hope this helps!
