My bluetooth on my laptop won't work

Good day,

please pardon my bad english.

i am using TOSHIBA NOTEBOOK SATTELITE C840 1011R which has a bluetooth connectivity shortcut located at the F12 button (i dont know its developer). i was completely shocked when i tried to turn on my bluetooth using this shortcut, and the "bluetooth symbol" didnt appear. i am a noob in terms of technology, computer terms, repairs, drivers etc. but i want to fix it on my own to save money. i dont know if it is because i downloaded Avast 2015 and erased it or what. please help me. i really want to fix it or re-install it. please bare with me because i dont know much about computers.

Which Browser are you using ? Is you Internet Connection stable ? ..

Have you tried other Browsers ?

Do you get an error Code when this happens ? ...
