When this happens, does the PC hang? You are unable to move your cursor, close the window, open another window, etc? Or does the PC continue to respond, and just the Computer doesn't load?

OK, 4am here, so I have to get some sleep. I will look in tomorrow. Mean time, if it is frequent enough to be repeatable, you could try booting to Safe Mode and see if it occurs there

If it's too random, next time it happens, open task manager, and see if the CPU usage is high, and what process is using the CPU. A Guy

Have you got an unhealthy drive in there? Check all your SATA drives are healthy.
