When I'm clicking ''Avslutt'' in norwegian, which is Turn off, in english. It ask if i want to close the programs, i click yes. Then it prepare to shut down with the ''Shutting down'' screen, and its getting stuck there.. I've tried waiting like 10 min, and its still stuck.

I have to shut it down by holding the power button downn -.- which can destroy the PC :/ any idea what i can do to search after errors in my machine? I'm sure there are alot, im suddenly lagging very much when i am typing.

After you have completed SFC /SCANNOW as requested. What programs are you running when you shut down? A program that is started up and running in the background when you boot that is not needed can hang up on shut down. That being said, go to the Star Orb and type in msconfig then go to Startup and remove check marks from all except from security programs. Then go to Services and check Hide All Microsoft Services and remove checks from all but security programs and reboot. On a proper Shut Down you should always close all programs you are working with i.e borwsers, Office, or anything else you have opened and are working with.

You sound happy, that's good. Take a peak at this.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11728-optimize-windows-7-a.html

Just add the sound studio back with a check mark. You may find a few things you really want at start up; they are a check mark away. I would if needed add one at a time. If it creates a problem you will know which program or service it is.
Check back into msconfig every week or so to see if things change. Sometimes updating programs will install check marks you don't want.

The way you thank people whether they help you or others is to rep them .
Upper right hand corner of the post is a little scale in the middle of the three.

I would replace Google spyware with Firefox, add only Add-Ons you know you need like Flash.

You can google any entry in msconfig to find out what it controls. It will be interesting to see if your sound program was causing the Shutdown hang.

Try reinstalling Google Chrome. That could help it speed up.

Then i have two problems that i noticed:

- After i restart my PC the wireless internet takes like 5min to startup. But that don't annoy me at all.
- I tried installing ESET Security, it required reboot to finish install, then i did reboot but nothing happend? That could be because i hooked off alot of options in msconfig? any help :/ ?

Uncheck all items besides your AV and the needed sound program in both places to achieve and maintain a clean boot.

I do not see your AV there but it should remain..

After unchecking all and reboot, immediately uninstall any MucAfee which is some of the worst crapware in the industry and causes problems we regularly solve by uninstalling the mess.

Do you still have a factory preinstall? I see HP bloatware there which is why I'm asking, but it may be for an HP printer needing HP Support Asst ready to scan with. If it's OEM I would consider Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

djfresh you just put your computer back in the same mess that was just repaired. Your trying to install ESET security and you all ready have F.Security and MC Malware Afee. ONE ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM AT A TIME ON ONE COMPUTER. Believe us, all of us you don't need all those things starting on boot.
Go back to my post #4 and star all over again. Remove all those anti virus programs and install MSE and MAM. Then when things are working as they were in your post #6. Pick which anti virus program (ONE) that you want and remove all others and install that one only. I would keep MAM installed also.

F-secure was deleted, but now i deleted it 100%. Malwarebytes isn't secure enought. I want to install ESET To make sure. Everyone know malwarebytes isnt a good anti virus

That's because Malwarebytes isn't an AV, but is a malware scanner - the very best one out there.

ESET is also very good if you need to pay. MSE is just as good for free.

Ok, i can close the thread now. I have installed custom theme, custom orb, eset security, removed F-secure, fixed evrything. The PC IS better than new! :D

- I have paid malwarebytes.
- I have paid ESET NOD32 Antivirus
