My Micro-Headphones doesn't work

Hello, My Microphone Micro$oft LifeChat LX-3000 isn't recognized by my computer anywhere.
I have installed this on my computer : Download Webcam & Headset Software

But it still not works, help please

Would help to know what sound card you have. Systems specs won't hurt either, go here,
