I'm using Win 7 for a long time, but this is a problem I experienced not so long ago, about less than a month ago. it started to be like this :
the desktop shows up from time to time, about every 30 mins, it's more noticeable when i'm running a program in full screen, like playing games, etc.
for example, I was playing a soccer game, full screen of course, then while I was playing the desktop shows up, as if something shows up, like a program pop-up or something like that, but actually there was nothing, nothing at all, I checked everything, task manager, taskbar, but nothing shows up, then i'm back to the game, and after 30 mins or so, it happens again, the desktop shows up, and again, there was nothing. it's so annoying, and I remember this is a new problem for my desktop, it started since just a month ago, it was never like this before. I can't pinpoint the source of the problem, so I don't know where to start. has anybody experienced a problem like this? what's the problem maker and how to fix it? thank you so much.

Hi Endly,

Welcome to Seven forums.

It seems any of the program running in the background can also cause this issue. Please perform a clean boot and locate the source of the issue by following the link below:

I have a game mouse that has a switch in the side where my thumb rests, when gripped to tight it would change to desktop. Just reprogrammed it to do nothing.
