Did you look through the Vaio troubleshooting guide?

Sony : Support for VPCEB1Z0E/B | VPCEB1Z0E/B technical support

My guide says:
-Make sure the computer is securely plugged into a power source.
-Make sure the power source is working.
-Make sure battery pack is installed properly and charged. Or remove battery pack and try using AC adapter only.
-Disconnect all USB devices and try to restart computer.
-Remove all memory modules except for one and try to restart. If more than one module, try each module separately.
-If computer is plugged into a power strip or UPS make sure power strip or UPS is working by plugging computer directly into mains outlet.
-Unplug power cord/AC adapter and remove battery pack. Wait ten minutes then reinstall battery pack and plug power cord/AC adapter back in. Try to restart.
-High humidity can cause condensation. Make sure all contacts are moisture free.

These are just some of the quick troubleshooting steps.
