my sound doesn't work no longer

i have win7 64bit operating system,i recently changed some services to increasing my Ram speed but suddenly recognaized that my sound is no longer working and apeares an X on sound tray icon in taskbar.please help me... (i've sent an attachment)

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Does your Sound Card show in the Device Manager with an error ? If so you should go to the HP Website and Download the Driver ...
