ok this is my update for W7.......this OS is super quick, & unlike vista as soon as it reaches the desktop all HDD activity stops dead!!, i also love the GUI its far improved over vista's
but i have some compatibility issues... maybe someone else could try & run these apps & see if its just my rig
speedfan wont work on any compatibility setting, which means i am unable to turn down the HSF & its bloody loud...
Rivatuner works but displays no GPU information, it states ''driver signings need to be disabled'' but they are...
im running 178.13 WHQLs (for x64 vista) but pages & movie playback are super laggy, i don't think the drivers actually work, even though i have Aero
my surround sound wont work, only the headphones will ...but the device manager states them both as fully functional...
& my modem probs im sure your all aware of....
most of these probs will be solved once i get it online, but you can certainly see the potential, i cant wait to update this bad boy & let it run rings round vista...
