Gooday all. I have a mystery Disk F in windows explorer. Cant pinpoint when or how it came to be there. It has zero space used and zero space empty. It doesn't appear to be causing me any difficulty but I want to get rid of it. Any info or help appreciated. Speccy info at this link. http://speccy.piriform.com/results/jzrNf0ErDE6Et65DBFs83EN

Speccy says you have 2 hard drives: A Samsung with 2 partitions of over 100 GB each and a Seagate of 117 capacity that has only 1 partition, F.

Do you agree with that?

What do you use the Seagate for and can you see any files on it?

Post picture of Windows Disk Management if possible.

Looks like your Samsung HDD (250GB - real size 244GB) has C: (101 GB) partition with windows installed on it. The second partition on Samsung does not have a drive letter with a size of 131 GB. The balance of 12 GB seems to be either reserved for Windows 7 recovery partitions or unallocated space.

The 131GB partition should have been D: but drive letter is not there. Are you using this partition for any data storage or for non windows OS?

Coming to the Seagate drive with (120GB - real size 117GB) You have a partition on it with drive letter F: but seems to be corrupted. If you do not have any data or other non windows OS, You may go to Disk Management and remove any existing partitions on Seagate drive, and recreate new partitions and format to preferably NTFS. Then this HDD will appear in windows 7 and you can start using it.

You may do the same for the second partition on Samsung provided it contains nothing important.

Please take precautions while you are handling the partitions, and follow this tutorials for guidance.
