Navigation pane problem in Word - 2010

Please help me to find solution .it is very difficult to work without use of it ..

my navigation pane is not working when using " CTL + F" and not opening navigation pane and when i checked : " VIEW - navigation pane option is not able to mark .....it is freeze. So please help me to solve this problem..

Try doing a repair.

i tried before first method of Manually Run Repairs but same problem and now i have selected Automatic Diagnostic option also......now what to do?

I've never used the Automatic Repair option, but from what the tutorial says it sounds like the diagnostic utility will come in Windows Updates.

If you have Office configured for this option, go to Windows Updates and check for updates.
See if there is an update(s) for the diagnostic utility, and if there is, install it.
