Now the problem isn't that they're hidden, as I've made hidden files viewable, the problem is the way they appear on my screen(almost ghostly) not like other unhidden files. My question is how do I make the files appear like unhidden ones (not "ghostly")?

Hi, welcome to the forums :)

You can right-click the icons (individually, or multiple) and select Properties, then un-check the Hidden option and click OK.

I would also advise that you download MalwareBytes and perform a full system scan to see if anything is picked up.

Thank you for this. I've been searching for this problem and found the answer accidentally in an old post!
