I was planning on building a new custom gaming PC.
I need help because it's the first time I'm building a PC.
Here are all the parts:

CPU: Protis - Procesor Intel Core i7 4790K
Motherboard: Protis - Maticna ploca ECS L337 Gaming Gank Drone Z87H3-A3X, Intel Z87, DDR3, zvuk, S-ATA, RAID, G-LAN, PCI-E, USB 3.0, D-SUB, DVI, HDMI, ATX, s. 1150
GPU: Protis - MSI Video Card GTX 760 GAMING GDDR5 2GB/256bit, 1006MHz/6008MHz, PCI-E 3.0 x16, DP, HDMI, 2xDVI, VGA Cooler (Double Slot), Retail
RAM: Protis - Memorija Kingston DDR3 1600MHz 16GB (2x 8GB), KVR16N11K2/16
SSD(for OS): Protis - SSD SATA III 240 GB Kingston HyperX 3K, 2.5", SH103S3/240G
HDD(other stuff): Protis - HDD SATA III 1 TB Seagate Barracuda, 3.5", 7200 rpm, 64MB, ST1000DM003
PSU: Protis - Napajanje 750W Spire Silent Eagle
CASE: Protis - Case Midi ATX Gamer Akyga AKY003BL colorFan/12cm 1xUSB3.0 w/o PSU

Are all the parts 100% compatible? What component is the weakest?
Are there any missing components? Is it a good build? If not what should I change?
Will I be able to play newest games including GTA 5 for PC (coming out soon) on the highest settings?

Thanks for feedback in advance.
I hope this is enough information. The site linked is in Croatian but I think you will understand.
I will reply ASAP because my phone is broken so I can't check my mail so often.
Sorry for bad English.

I don't read Croatian, but I'd say the weakest points are probably the power supply and the motherboard.

Both are very important, so I would change them if at all possible. I'd get a slower CPU if I had to in order to get another power supply and motherboard into my budget.

Can you get any of these brands?

Motherboard: Asus, Asrock, Gigabyte, MSI

SSD: Crucial or Samsung

Power supply: Antec, XFX, Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA

Case: Antec, Corsair, Fractal Design, NZXT

What is your budget?

Generally speaking, you don't need a 4790K or 16 GB of RAM to do high quality gaming, but maybe you have a high budget and don't mind spending the money?

Do you need Windows?

I don't see a CPU cooler on your list of parts. That's fine if you are not over-clocking because you can use the stock cooler included with the CPU. But if you are not over-clocking, you don't need a K series CPU.

Do you intend to over-clock or not?

All fans PWM; speeds at idle: CPU circa 500 rpm; intake circa 600 rpm; exhaust circa 600 rpm; CPU temps 27 idle and 47 C load in a warm room (27 C/81 F) when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility stress test.
I echo above sentiments, i5 "k" with a good cooler will get very close to i7 and save money you can put into the GPU or other components. Just know you are going to get hooked on this build and once running you will be back inside looking for things to upgrade, cables to re-route.....all sorts of things, ENJOY !

For sure get a case with a clear side panel, you will want to show off your build and maybe even light it up some !

I don't have a huge budget and reason why I choose the 4790k is because of my current CPU is a piece of crap and I don't want a CPU that will bottleneck my system, and all the good motherboards at low price were out of stock, I'll search a bit more. I plan to overclock but after a few years when I will need extra performance.
Is this motherboard good enough ASRock > Z87 Extreme3 ?
And how about this PSU Protis - Napajanje 750W Corsair CX series ATX, EPS12V, PS/2, Power Supply, EU Version
Recommend me a good CPU for a lower price than the 4790k, but still I need a good CPU because I record youtube videos and a screen capture card cannot be bought in my country(it's unavailable). Now I see that I don't have that much money for all that stuff, I'll try to find cheaper components but I want at least 2 years of warranty and I don't want less than 30 FPS while playing games.

Price out the i5 4670k. The Corsair is a much better PSU and I think the ASRock mobo as well is much higher quality please look for MSi as well in the new Z97 chip sets.

You don't need a 750 watt power supply for a single GPU system. Look for something between 500 and 650 watts made by a superior manufacturer.

The Corsair CX series is made by Channel Well. If you want to go with Corsair, look for the HX, TX, or VX series. Those are made by Seasonic. Many XFX brand power supplies are made by Seasonic. Certain recent EVGA power supplies are very well made.

I'd go with 8 GB of RAM unless you have a specific reason to believe you need more. 16 GB will cost an additional $80 or so and that money is better spent elsewhere---GPU, SSD, motherboard. If you had 16 GB, you'd possibly never know it as the 9th through 16th gigabytes would never be called on.

As Linnemeyer suggests, I'd strongly consider a Z97 motherboard. If necessary for budget reasons, move down to a 4670K.

If the price was the same, I'd rather have the 4670K, the best PSU and motherboard combination, and 8 GB of RAM than a 4970K with a Corsair CX 750 and 16 GB of RAM.

Asrock is a good motherboard brand, but I'm not sure that particular model is the one I'd choose if I had overclocking intentions.

I can only agree with what was said above. For gaming, get the Intel Core i5-4690K. More than enough for gaming and some light content creation. I'd get a 2x4GB(8 GB total) kit of Corsair/G. Skill/Kingston memory @ 1600MHz or better. If you plan on overclocking you WILL need better cooling than the stock Intel heatsink/fan. If you are on a tight budget, you can get the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo for around $25-30 USD, however if the budget will allow, go for a good All in One water cooler from NZXT, Corsair, Intel, or Thermaltake.

For the motherboard, I always recommend Asus, but MSI has stepped up their game on their new boards so you might find something from them, but definitely get a Z97 motherboard instead of the Z87 chipset. Z87 boards will need a BIOS update to run the new Haswell refresh CPU'S, such as the 4690K. For the Power Supply I would go with a 600-650 watt SeaSonic or Corsair preferably Semi or fully modular.

Those are tried and true components that have a great warranty, and solid reputation behind them.

This is my final build, the max my budget allows:

Motherboard: MSI Z97-G45 GAMING
CPU: Intel Core i7 4690k
GPU: MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 Gaming
RAM: Kingston DDR3 1600MHz 8GB (2x4) HX Beast KHX16C9T3K2/8X
HDD: HDD SATA III 1 TB Seagate Barracuda, 3.5", 7200 rpm, 64MB, ST1000DM003
PSU: 650W Corsair VS Series, CP-9020051-EU
CASE: Fractal Define R4 Titanium Gray
CD/DVD: LG GH24NS95 SATA Bulk Black 24x

I don't have enough money for a water cooler so when I will have then I'll get one and I'm not sure if the CPU comes with a CPU cooler or I have to buy one.

Any recommendations? Are all the parts compatible? What should I change? I see no one said anything about the graphics card, it it good?

The CPU will come with a stock Intel heatsink and fan, just don't plan on getting too crazy with it. I don't see an SSD in this list, are you still getting one, or not? I would not build a system these days, high end or not, without one. The graphics card is fine, a 760 will play games @ 1080p high settings all day long. Also, unless you still use disks, I wouldn't bother with an optical drive. I added one in my build a few years ago and can't remember using it once lol. If you do use disks, disregard previous statement.

I need an optical drive because I use CD/DVDs. I don't use them often but I do, when installing drivers and that stuff. That optical drive is best buy, the cheapest possible in the store in my country 20$. And a problem, I don't have enough money for an SSD, I know it takes ages to start up windows 7, on my newest PC it takes 10 min, and that's why I never shut it down, I just put it in sleep mode. I'll probably get one but I will see.

Save up and get a Samsung 840 EVO 128GB and don't look back. The speed difference in the top 20 drives are negligible.
