Hey guys. I have a problem. My netbook came with Windows preinstalled with all of the recovery partitions, etc. I want to change the drive from MBR to GUID. Is there a way that I cam do this without losing all of my partitions? I'm quad-booting from 3 drives and it'd be nice to be able to use one drive :P I have tried extended partitons but it's hard to shrink my windows drive to send free space to the extended partition (IDK how...)

Please help me fix this!

Thanks in advance!

**EDIT** ok so I've done some research to find out about something called a "dynamic disc". I am willing to try this if possible

Why bother?
Are you running out of drive letters?

You're booting 4 different versions of Windows?

Actually I need more than four primary partitions on my HDD, so that's why I'm using multiple drives :P

I'm quad-booting from 3 drives and it'd be nice to be able to use one drive :P

Hahaha no I'm booting Windows 7, Snow Leopard, Ubuntu 11.10, and Android.

You would normally need to reinstall to do that.

Windows doesn't provide any way of adjusting the boot files for EFI boot, and disk mgmt only supports conversion to GPT for empty hd's.
