Any ideas on how I can force IE 11 to always launch maximized for a new user profile and/or existing user profiles either by modifying the registry or by GPO?
So far, I know I can right click/properties any IE shortcut and change Run from "normal window" to "maximized." I have not figured out where in the registry I can make this change.
icnic:
I also, understand that Windows remembers the size of IE in the Windows_Placement key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main but haven't figured a way I can use this to my advantage.
Here is a exactly what I want, when a user logs on, IE launches maximized at startup (I have a GPO to launch IE at startup). When a user launches IE from the desktop it opens maximized. User should be able to adjust the size of IE, close IE then launches IE and it opens maximized.
Any help would greatly be appreciated
