Solved !@#$%^&* need on this small connector on my motherboard

im currious what this BT1 connector is for nothing is connected to it.

Bluetooth connection most likely. If that is what it is and your laptop doesn't have bluetooth on it, you have to remember most computer manufacturer's will only use a couple of makes/models of motherboards and will use one with all options available on it. They then use that board in most systems in a line up, and just charge more for the extras if used.

Sounds like its a bu battery connector of some type.

It might be for a battery or battery test. BT is used a lot on printed circuits to indicate a battery connection. TP would be a test point. Whats the board? That thing has more stamps and stickers than a traveling trunk.

lol and its a nv5378u gateway laptop if its Bluetooth could u give me a ling too where i can buy the internal part. the card u see above the port is a 56k modem. and the connector has 4 pins

Try newegg.com they may have what you are looking for. If all else fails try Gateway (although they will probably charge you an arm, right leg, and left foot for it)
