Nero 8 / Nerovision and Win 7

Hi,

Has anybody run the NeroVision that comes with Nero 8 (Nerovision 5) on Windows 7 64bit? Does it work? All I can find is mixed information. (I currently have Vista 32bit). Although Nerovision is not my main video editing/encoding software by any means, it has one feature that I occasionally use for certain types of video encoding that later versions of Nero lack. At the very least, anyone know if the encoder (export movie option) of Nero Vision works in Win 7? Thanks in advance.

Officially Nero 8 is not supported by Windows 7. Nero - Support News

I had used Nero 8 and its component programs with Windows XP but have upgraded successively to Nero 9, 10 and now 11 and have used the current version of Nerovision once or twice.

Since Nero 8 is not officially supported in Windows 7, I would desist from even trying it.
