I recently bought a desktop with windows7 64-bit already installed. I went to put in my ehome eh102 wireless adapter card and it didn't work. I then went out and bought a netgear wna1100 USB wireless adapter and installed that. However, I am having problems. My router is a belkin F5D8236-4 v3 and while the computer picks up the network, as soon as the device is detected, the router drops out and keeps resetting itself. As soon as I remove the USB drive the router resets and is good to go.
Any suggestions?

Connect via Ethernet cable to your Belkin. Download the latest firmware and flash the router. Do a hard reset on the router.

I was told that since I have other computers that can connect to the belkin router (both vista and win 7 machines) that the problem is with the adapter card/software.

You're right. I thought you were saying the router was resetting.

I'm concerned that two adapters didn't work.

You installed the latest driver - 2.0.0.36?

Do you have a local network device as well as wireless? You might try disabling the onboard nic.
