Network Adapter Not Properly Installed

After reinstalling Windows 7 on a new hard drive (old hard drive could no longer boot) I cannot access the internet. The troubleshoot says "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver."

When I go to device manager it list "Other Devices" with Ethernet controller, Network controller, and PCI simple communication controller under it. Each of them have a yellow exclamation. Also "Network Adapter" is not listed. Need help with this problem!!!!!

You need to install the correct driver for your network adapter. This will be your Ethernet controller, if you are connecting with an Ethernet cable. This post will tell you how to find the correct driver.

Alternately, use another network adapter to connect to the internet; then do a Windows update, and search for the available updates. Look in the optional updates that it finds. If there is one for your network adapter, install only that update. Then shut down and reboot using your regular network adapter. This method has ALWAYS worked for me.

Don't you have a driver CD that came with the motherboard that will have drivers or go to makers site to download

Sorry for the late reply. samuria My computer did not come with CDs.

I went to the Toshiba website and didn't find my specific network controller listed, that is why I posted my issue here. The network controller in my computer is Realtek RTL8188CE. I will post hardware ids below.
