Network Controller (code 28) no interna

Hi All .
I deleted lots of old programs and the next time I tried to access the internet I couldnt.
After some advice I got to the stage of finding a yellow fag with an exclamation mark on the Network Controller it tells me that the driver for this device are not installed (code 28) it offered to update but obviously it cant as there is no internet access . I can use this PC to download Drivers and install them onto the Dell Inspiron 560.
Any help would be appreciated . Thanks John.

Hi
You should be able to get the driver from Dell if they support win 7 install the chipset driver first then the network controller.

The Dell site was great I got the download .Do I have to do anything to link it as it still shows no internet. thanks John.

Hi I saved it to a memory stick as a file, put it in the Dell my docs then opened it .I said it was installed but i have the same problem .
I went on youtube and a chap offered a solution where bonjour was stopping access with i tunes it seemed a bit advanced. I have itunes and bonjour in my Dell ?.

Post a screen shot of device manager with the network expanded.

how is that done ? I take a screen shot do I then copy to a memory stick then how do I show on an XP computer.

Hi .I installed the later Realtec one .Should I have deleted the possibly corrupt one first on the Dell or would the install have done that ? thanks John.

Are you using Windows 32 or 64 Bit Version ? ...
