Network issue with EVA8000

I have an EVA8000 digital entertainer HD (Netgear) and it ran sweet on my old XP machine, I am now running W7 RC2 x64 on a new PC and now I cant get it to see the network shares, or even to find a shared folder for the EVA to write it's data back to for the media information. I am using a wired network over Cat6 and it streamed HD video perfectly from my XP machine. I have the latest x64 bit software for the EVA8000 just cant configure folders for read/write access.

How do I set up read/write network shares between the EVA8000 and my W7 PC?

EVA 8000 and Netgear Support Useless

I tried to post this on Netgear Forum about my EVA 8000 Support call ADVENTURE!
BUT it was deleted - no surprise..
My quest for support goes like this:

After 20 minutes of call time to register the product because the indian call center cant speak english properly or understand it easily.
Then 42 minutes of listening to fresh air because the indian support person is so stupid that it took him 10 minutes of silence to come back to me and ask what product was that again.. 20 minutes of silence again and he said whats the problem.. then 10 minutes later I asked what was happening and he told me to be patient! WTF I think an 62 minutes at PREMIUM rate call charges I am being plenty patient... so then a few minutes later I had to hang up..
What did I find out?
Only 1 thing... Netgear Support is the WORST ever and I will be throwing all my Netgear products in the BIN and never buy them again!

All I wanted to know was how to connect the EVA8000 to Windows 7 which it doesn't seem to support!
