So I am trying to share a drive. But here is the problem.
Two computers; Computer A mine and Computer B the back up. Both are running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
So on computer B I have several drives, one drive in particular is for computer A.
So in computer B I went to that drive and I added a folder; backup. Then I went to Start > Computer, right mouse clicked on the drive, selected Shared with and then select Advance Sharing. New screen, went to the Sharing tab, clicked on Advance Sharing button, put a check in the top box, hit apply and then okay.
I rebooted (I just do this) and then when computer B was back up, I went to computer A. Start > Network and the new screen I see my computer B and double click on it. Now here is the problem, I see the drive that is shared, but also the folder 'backup' that I created within that drive as a shared items as well. Should I not just see the drive, then double click the drive to then see the folder 'backup'? Not sure what I missed or is this how Windows 7 works?
