New Computer New SSD Bad kid!

Hey guys been awhile,,,,
I built a computer for a friend and set it up with a small SSD drive to run his operating system (win7) and a D: Storage drive. I set his C: drive up as I always do using the tutorials on this site to gain maximum performance.
So this is my second go round because the computer owner's kid who is 17 decided he would take control and set things up how HE wants it! he took it apart and changed a bunch of stuff, screwed things back in with the wrong screws, he also messed around with my fresh pretty Windows 7 install that was tweaked and running great with a 28sec restart time that I was rather proud of. This kid moved around folders and files and had non existent short cuts everywhere!!!
I found out about this when he called and asked me why Windows Defragmenter wont run?? Yikes! I told him NO No No!! its an SSD drive DO NOT RUN Disk Defrag on the drive.
So anyhow the next day his dad tells me I need to look at the PC and make sure his kid didn't take anything out of it or anything. This kid had run driver and registry repair programs and the disk clean up ect,,,, I said what are you thinking?? this is a NEW PC (he was first one to boot it up since I set it up 2 days b4) THERE IS NO FILES and CRAP to clean up!! (I already cleaned up via Windows 7 SP1 Disk Cleanup Tool as well as deleted old backups and install files ect,,)

Soooo now my question is HOW can I protect at least the operating system so he cant screw it up? or change things ect?? Mainly I just don't want him to be able to change my settings and creating him a separate user will not work nor will will much of anything really I don't think,, since he "Thinks he is a Computer wiz" he may hve things ruined even faster this next time.

I was hoping to set this up so once im done anything they install on it will go directly to the D: storage drive and not affect the C: Drive yet still give them use of the normal windows libraries (my documents, pic, vids, music,,,,)
Is there any way?? Id guess not really I do intend to make an image of the drive that I will keep for backup just incase but I just fear this kid tearing this PC up within days like the first time even though he has been told and warned NOT to!!.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

To me this can be solved with an administrative passwords in the bios and os but I'll let others with more knowledge with this very challenge comment. It's kind of like when companies hand out laptops without administrative rights you can only do so much. Dad needs to buy his kid some barebones kit and his son can learn the hard and right way what to do.

Well yes the password's will have to do,,, he is getting the older computer for himself but of course he is not that interested in it because its so old n slow, he wants the new one. He has been warned but my trust in what he'll do with it is worn thin.

Passwords and user accounts and a hefty charge in $$$ to reset the machine back to your settings should do the trick. The only way to sort juniors messing about with the PC is to inflict financial pain to gain and teach RESPECT. I know they guy is your friend but you'll have to say if its messed up again I'll have to charge you $x hours labor to put it right.

Yep I guess you're right and he has now!! This kid had the nerve to call me today when I was at work and ask if he could come take the storage drive out of it so he could get to a picture that I copied onto it from the OLD PC that is still at his house!! He begged me and told me it wont hurt to take the HDD out its not being used today anyhow!! I told him for a picture? really!! Then he tried to cover it up and said Dad needed an invoice off it that again is still on the OLD PC at their house. Sheesh! But now Dads put the kabash on it and he has been told he cannot and will not touch the new PC at ALL!
Ha!

Ok so sorry for the bother guys problem is solved! Mods feel free to move or delet this post since it never really amounted to anything sept a crazy asss story!
