Thanks folks and just out of interest in the latest AV Comparatives report the Emsisoft came out ahead of just about everything .
AV-Comparatives - Independent Tests of Anti-Virus Software - Real World Protection Test Overview

To be honest I have used Kaspersky for a few years now and am thinking of trying it out on one of my machines. There are a few surprises in this report too like Trend (which I ma not a fan of) for example coming out ahead of Kaspersky.

I know these reports are not infallible but all the same give some good indications.

Yep well I get the regular updated reports from them automatically as I do the Matousec stuff plus the Kaspersky updates for their free scan stuff -I get the support updates and they always seem to be updating the TDSS Killer bar the last one.
Mind you a lot of the "sub" links in some of that Kaspersky stuff winds on and on:p
