New restore/install, admin issues

Today I decided to wipe out my Gateway PC and do a restore/new install. The problem is, is that every time I install a program an admin window opens up and asks for a password. I never had this trouble before. I have the Admin account then my account that shows as admin when I logon, but looking under user profiles it shows as standard user and won't let me change it. It doesn't make sense. I'm confused!

Make sure to delete all partitions to create and format new using Drive Options shown in Steps 7/8 during the booted http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

You only want the Admin account issued during install and not another Standard User account that second guesses everything you do - unless you have another user you want restricted in this way.
