newly installed Frontlines fuel of war and will not start

I bougth Frontlines: Fuel of War on steam and installed it rigth after, when the installation was complete I tried to start the game but it come up "Frontlines: Fuel of War as stopped working" and so I reinstalled the game but it didnt make any diffrence. What to do?

Try running it in compatibility mode for XP or Vista

Dude, i just played this game a couple of months ago on win7 x64 without issues. Just perform a fresh install of the game and donwload the 4 or 5 patches for it, those patches must be installed in a very sensitive order for the game to launch.

I have installed all the patches in order and on a fresh install, tried twice now on win7. The game does launch in compatibility mode but it stutters and lags so much online it's unplayable. I don't know what I did wrong or what I am missing. /shrug

i got it on Steam sale and played it week ago or so. no problems. only stupid Punkbuster was spouting some nonsense about keys or something and booting me from servers with PB enabled.

so maybe check your Punkbuster installation.

wow, I haven't had any errors with Punkbuster or with being booted - except when I forgot to change my name the first time I joined a server, from "Unnamed Player" in the game options. That was the only time it booted me.

FFOW stops with working if i launch it for the first time, i have waited 2 or 3 min and after that i coeld just play.
maybe you have the same problem, just wait couple of min.
