Solved Nikon D70 - CF Card issue when hooking up to PC

Hey guys,

A bit weird this one.
I've been shooting some images, earlier in the week no problem with the card and transferring to the computer with the USB cable... but today windows is asking me to format the card as it's not recognised.
I'm trying out some data recovery software but it's seemingly only picking up old stuff.
The strange thing is you can see the images in the camera without any problems.

Any ideas much appreciated !

I do have one idea, potentially stupid BUT could work.
When I was testing out the various recovery software, it did manage to find over 700 (jpg) files that my friend had taken a while ago...but obviously not my current ones.
So I'm thinking worst case, format the card and get the software to search for it all again (my files are RAW nef type).

Sorted.

Charged the battery fully, changed the USB mode on the camera and it luckily let me grab everything !
Windows recognised the 2GB card as 65.5Gb heh.
