Hello there,
I have an error in my Windows 7 with the audio, "No Audio Output Device Installed."
I checked the playback & recording devices, but none are installed. I checked for hidden devices, but there wasn't any.
So I opened the Device Manager, and checked the "Sound, video, and game controllers" tab.
I have two audio devices with the same error:
Intel(R) Display Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

These two devices have this error (code 52):

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

((Edit; This is the first thread I made on these forums, and this problem came up just today. Yesterday, the audio was OK. And please be quick as you can, because I can't be on a PC without audio. ))

If you have a recent System Restore point, restore the PC with that restore point and see if that fixes the problem.

If not, Uninstall both Intel and Realtek sound in the Device Manager. DO NOT uninstall the drivers. Restart Windows and they may be detected and installed when Windows starts.

The third possibility is malware. Do a malware scan with Malwarebytes.

I tried uninstalling both of them, that didn't work.
So I tried System Restore, and it actually worked.
Thanks :D
