No bootable device found-please enter a new boot device

Hi guys, im new here and i wish you can help me cuz im really stucked.

I have a toshiba satellite L350, and it cant boot.
Firstly there was just a blue screen and then it switched to a blaack screen and says no bootable device, please enter e now boot device.
I knew my HDD was gone beause he was clicking, so i bought a new one, but still the same issue.
My cd/dvd doesnt work so i burnt win 7 to usb but my Hard drive was not recognized by the windows.
I resetted the bios te deffault but that didnnt help.
I unpuluged the Ac power, and the battery pluggedt it but same problem.
I want to bios and there was shown Hard Disk Drive, NONE.
I changet from ASPI to compatibiliyt since it is the only one but same prb.

Any suggestion guys ?It is driving me crazy, i have tried everything i knew

Try, removing the battery, unplug the device and holding the Power button down for at least 30 seconds. Re install the hard drive, making sure of proper connection. Replace battery and Power plug, go into bios and set optimized defaults. Then see if the hard drive is recognized. Try to listen and see if the hard drive is spinning up.

Yeah i did this but no, still in the bios hard disk is shown none and the laptop doesnt boot.
I dont know if the hard disk is spinnin, it makes a very low noise, i dont know if thats good or bad, but, the other hard disk just kept clicking.
This is new hard disk i just bought it, I hope it isnt broken though.
Could loading drivers in windows installation help ?
Any suggestion what should i do ?

Before the old one was removed, was it showing in BIOS before you removed it? Is your sata controller set to Raid in BIOS?

Yeah i just removed the new hard disk and entered the old one and in bios it is showing

Then the new one is not working it seems. You have to be able to 'see' it in bios before you can install to it.

The old Hdd now is showin in windows installation but there is 0 mb, i dont know why ?

Most likely it is not working, but is working just enough to show up. It's functioning, just not readable.

IS there any way to test my hdd ?
I want to test both the new and the old one ?

Connect them to another computer, either internally or as externals.

Since my new hdd isnt being recognized and my old one yes, i finally came to a conclusion that both the hard disks are dead, the new one even more dead than the old one.
I came to this conclusion cuz i booted from usb with linux and the llaptop started perfectly, and then i just searched for hard disk drive, and there were no hard drives there, only the removable usb disk that i used to boot from linux.
So maybe i will give it a try using a new hdd .
I had a dilema that my motherboard electricity was some kind of the problem but not, cuz my hard drive ( the old one) was recognized in bios, but who knows !
